  • Thiago Bernardi Vieira (2015) – Held a PNPD fellowship at the State University of Mato Grosso for one year after his PhD. Has been a faculty member at the Federal University of Pará (Altamira campus) since 2016. Published 57 articles in the past five years. Current h-index: 14. Supervised by Prof. Paulo De Marco Jr.

  • Walter Santos de Araújo (2015) – Faculty member at the State University of Montes Claros since 2016. Coordinates the Graduate Program in Biodiversity and Natural Resource Use since 2021. CNPq Research Productivity Fellow (Level 2) and Associate Editor for Ecological Entomology. Published 55 articles in the past five years. h-index: 12. Supervised by Prof. Mário Almeida Neto.

  • Bruno Vilela de Moraes e Silva (2016) – Completed a sandwich PhD at the University of Alcalá (Spain) and postdoc at Washington University in St. Louis (USA). Faculty member at UFBA since 2018. Coordinated the graduate program in Ecology: Theory, Application, and Values (2021–2023). CNPq PQ2 Fellow and associated with the Macroecology & Macroevolution WG at INCT EECBio. h-index: 14.   • Danielle Katharine Petsch (2018) – Completed a sandwich PhD at the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research (iDiv) and postdoc at State University of Maringá (UEM). Held temporary faculty positions at UEM (2021–2022) and UFRN (2022–2023). Assistant Professor at UNESP (Assis campus) since 2024. Associate Editor for Acta Limnologica Brasiliensia and Limnology (since 2023). Published 26 articles (2020–2024). h-index: 15. Supervised by Prof. Adriano Sanches Melo.

  • Karine Borges Machado (2019) – Held a DTI-B fellowship at INCT EECBio until 2021. Completed two postdocs at the State University of Goiás (CNPq and FAPEG funding). Hired as faculty in 2024. Published 22 articles in the past five years. h-index: 10. Supervised by Prof. João Carlos Nabout.

  • Marco Túlio Pacheco Coelho (2020) – Completed a sandwich PhD at Colorado State University (USA), postdoc at UFG (2020–2021), and since 2021 is a postdoctoral researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research (WSL). Associate Editor of Diversity and Distributions. Published 8 high-impact papers in the past five years (including PNAS, Nature as first author, and Nature Communications). h-index: 12. Supervised by Prof. Thiago Rangel.

  • Elisa Barreto Pereira (2020) – Completed sandwich PhD and postdoc at WSL with European Research Council funding. Since 2022, continues as postdoc at WSL. Editor at Ecological Monographs (since 2024). Published 14 articles (2020–2024). h-index: 8. Supervised by Prof. Thiago Rangel.

  • André Felipe Alves de Andrade (2020) – Postdoc at UFG (2021–2022). Published 14 articles (2020–2024), including a Science paper. h-index: 11. Since 2022, researcher at the Amazon Environmental Research Institute (IPAM). Supervised by Prof. Paulo De Marco Jr.

  • Bruno Roberto Ribeiro (2021) – Received honorable mention in the CAPES Thesis Award (2022). Won first place in the Ebbe Nielsen Challenge with a thesis article. Currently technical manager at the Brazilian Foundation for Sustainable Development. Published 13 articles, 1 book chapter, and edited 3 books. h-index: 15. Supervised by Prof. Rafael Loyola.

  • Jhonny José Magalhães Guedes (2024) – Completed a sandwich PhD at the University of East Anglia. Currently a postdoc at UFG. Published 19 articles (2020–2024), 8 as first author. h-index: 6. Supervised by Prof. José Alexandre Felizola Diniz Filho.

  • Matheus de Souza Lima Ribeiro (2013) – CAPES Thesis Award winner. Professor at the recently created Federal University of Jataí. Faculty member in the PPG in Ecology and Evolution. CNPq PQ2 Fellow. Coordinates a project in INCT EECBio. Works on macroecology, niche modeling, and Quaternary extinctions. Supervised by Prof. José Alexandre Diniz Filho.

  • Sidney Feitosa Gouveia (2013) – Associate Professor at Federal University of Sergipe. CNPq PQ Fellow and Coordinator of the PPG in Ecology & Conservation. Recipient of Serrapilheira funding and coordinator of several CAPES initiatives. Supervised by Prof. José Alexandre Diniz Filho.

  • Walter Araujo Santos (2015) – Faculty at UNIMONTES. Vice-coordinator of the graduate program in Biodiversity and Natural Resource Use. Published over 40 papers in the past five years. Supervised by Prof. Mário Almeida Neto.
